College Athletic Trainers Society Meeting 2017 - Las Vegas

The last few day of this week I have been at the Las Vegas Orleans Hotel and Casino attending the College Athletic Trainers Society Spring Meeting.  I have had the good fortune of being the meeting photographer for the past several years.

The CEU's provided to the Certified Athletic Trainers were fabulous this year.  The meeting is better every year!  If you are looking for a meeting to attend, there is nothing better than the CATS Spring Meeting held every year at the Orleans.

On this trip I used two cameras.  The Pentax K1 and Fuji X100T.  Both cameras were able to handle low light situations with acceptable images produced for the organization.

The Fuji X100T has a built in 23mm 2.0 lens that is second to none!  The Pentax allows me to change  lenses as I used the 31mm Limited, 43mm Limited, (fantastic lenses) along with a Sigma 18-300mm.

Last year I generally used the 31mm Limited on a Pentax K5 camera which is a APC crop camera.  The 31mm lens provided me a 46.5mm view.  This year I tried to use the 43 Limited as the Pentax K1 is a full frame camera which provided a similar view.  The Sigma lens is a crop sensor lens, providing 27mm to 450mm.

If you are looking for a lens that will give you fantastic images, you do not need to hesitate when looking at the Pentax 31mm Limited or the 43 Limited provide by Pentax.
