Travel to St. Augustine Florida

Have you had the opportunity to spend the weekend in the oldest city in Florida?

If you have a weekend, you need to see St. Augustine as it is a must visit destination.  I would plan at least two days to see everything the city has to offer as you will be rushed if not.  Additionally, the sites should be seen during the day and in the evening as the magic blue hour is fantastic!

Castillo de San Marcos

Castillo de San Marcos

The oldest masonry fort in the continental United States, the Castillo de San Marcos is a large Spanish stone fortress built to protect and defend Spain's claims in the New World. It's a National Monument and, at over 315 years old, it's the oldest structure in St. Augustine.

Bridge of Lions

The Bridge of Lions was built in the mid-1920s as a way for automobiles to travel from St. Augustine on the mainland to Anastasia Island.
